Environmental engineers develop and implement technologies to solve problems like meeting clean water supply needs and protecting public health, addressing the air pollution issues of acid rain and global warming, and reducing pollution while maintaining and improving the quality of life we enjoy. One of the best ways to learn is by going out of the classroom and doing the work yourself! You can arrange a co-op or internship through our Career Center that will give you a taste of the field while you earn a professional salary.
