Biomolecular Engineering Concentration

Bio-sensors, air pollution monitoring, biodiesel fuels — these topics are all in the news and require attention from professionals willing to span the boundaries of various professions. Biomedical engineers apply the technical training of a chemical engineer and add a special expertise in biology. The result is someone much in demand by various industries and agencies, including pharmaceuticals, food processing, consumer products, biomedical devices, and a wide range of homeland security issues.

In addition to this undergraduate program, Clarkson also offers graduate degrees in chemical engineering.

At Clarkson, you will earn a fully accredited degree in chemical engineering, while taking courses in biochemical engineering, biochemistry and biology. Clarkson's chemical engineering program has a history of graduates who pursue medical degrees or graduate degrees in biomedical engineering.
