Mohawk Science Fair

Encouraging American Indian youth to develop and sustain an interest and aptitude in science, Mohawk Science Fair is an effort by the Pipeline Programs office to support the Ahkwesahsae Mohawk Science Fair.

More than 100 scientific projects annually have been designed, researched, and presented by K-8 students to their peers and other professionals who serve as judges. The highest ranking projects by sixth, seventh, and eighth graders move to the next level of competition at the annual American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) National Science Fair or the United Counties Science Fair in Canada.
