Financial Assistance

In 2003, Teaching Assistantships provided a stipend of $18,000 plus a full tuition scholarship (year of 2004/2005, the stipend will be $18,500). Duties include laboratory and recitation sections, grading reports, exams, homework. Research Assistantships provide a stipend of $18,000 per year. The research carried out by the assistant is usually used towards thesis requirements. Research assistants also receive full tuition scholarships.
