Biography

Hello!

My name is John DeJoy. I am an Associate Professor of Accounting in the School of Business at Clarkson University's Capital Region Campus which is located in Schenectady, NY. I began teaching college and graduate students in 1992. I taught my first completely online course in 1994. I travel nationally and internationally presenting pedagogy workshops that have helped hundreds of accounting professors to improve their teaching skills.

I love helping students learn. I consider it a privilege to teach. I am excited to be teaching the bright and accomplished graduate and undergraduate students here at Clarkson.

I have been teaching at Clarkson (nee' Union Graduate College) since September 2012. Before Clarkson, I worked as an accounting professor at Siena College in Loudonville, NY.

I hold state licensure as a CPA in New York (active license) and Idaho. My management experience includes eight years working as a manager with 30 professionals reporting to me from multiple locations.
