Dawn White, MPAS, RPA-C
Clinical Assistant  Professor

Ms. White grew up in the Syracuse, NY area.  Prior to PA school, she completed her undergraduate education at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY.  She worked for 3 years as a Resident Counselor with developmentally disabled adults in group homes in both Rochester and Syracuse.  She was also a volunteer EMT with the North Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps (NAVAC).  She graduated from the LeMoyne College Physician Assistant Program in 2003. 

After graduation, she worked at Loretto, a 450 bed nursing home, with 100 beds dedicated to short term rehabilitation patients.  After 2 years working in geriatric medicine, she made the switch to family practice, working for a practice based in Watertown and Carthage, NY.  She then moved to a practice in Syracuse, NY. 

Ms. White has served as a clinical preceptor for LeMoyne College second year PA students since her graduation from the program.  She has also furthered her education by receiving her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  She plans to start her Doctor of Health Science Degree in the near future.
