WiSE Learning/Living Community
The WiSE Learning/Living Community will be open to 20 incoming first-year women students who express an interest in studying mathematics, science or engineering and want to live together in an enriched and supportive environment.
The benefits of being part of the WiSE Learning/Living Community include:
- A stimulating environment that encourages academic success along with personal and professional development
- Study groups with upper-class women as peer mentors with majors in mathematics, science and engineering
- Informal gatherings with science and engineering faculty and peer mentors
- Guest speakers from Clarkson’s Career Center, community organizations and regional and national industries
- Group social events, opportunities for off-campus trips and exchanges with other college WiSE programs
WiSE residents will be housed as a group. If interested in being a WiSE resident, check this option on your Housing Application, available soon on Blackboard.
