Early Mini Orientation for Parents/Family

We have prepared an Early Mini-Orientation for families of students who plan to attend an Early Connections Pre-Orientation Opportunity.  This special orientation session is being held because we do not expect families to make a second visit to Potsdam on Friday, August 22nd, although you are welcome to do so.  This year we are offering two Early Mini-Orientations for those who are arriving on Sunday, August 17th and for those who are arriving on Wednesday, August 20th.  Your son/daughter will receive a detailed schedule from the program coordinators this summer, which will include the time they can move into their rooms.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 17
5:30 – 6:30 p.m. - behind Cheel Campus Center by the barbeque pit (Inclement weather-Cheel Commons, 1st floor)

Join your son/daughter at an outdoor picnic

7:00- 8:00 p.m. - Barben Rooms, 2nd floor, Cheel Campus Center
Welcome by University administrators and panel discussion with Head Residents and Resident Assistants:  “How You and Your Student Can Survive the First Year at Clarkson”

8:00 – 8:30 p.m. - entrance way to Barben Rooms and Parents Lounge, 2nd floor, Cheel Campus Center
Reception:  A time to talk informally with administrators and panel members

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20
5:30 – 6:30 p.m. -  behind Cheel Campus Center by the barbeque pit (Inclement weather-Cheel Commons, 1st floor)
