All electronic devices (desktop computers, laptops, printers, gaming and wireless devices) that connect to the Clarkson University network must be registered. All Windows-based computers are required to run the University-provided anti-virus software, which configures computers to run Windows Updates and SAV updates regularly. Go to netreg.clarkson.edu to register your computer (along with any other device) and to download the corporate edition of Symantec Anti-Virus (SAV). Be sure to uninstall all components of any anti-virus you are currently running before installing our Symantec Anti-Virus! Failure to run anti-virus software and maintain Windows Updates is a violation of Clarkson University policy and can lead to a fine of $100. Bandwidth caps are put into place to ensure availability for academic use.
