Recognized Organizations
Fraternities
Fraternities play an important role in the academic and social atmospheres here at Clarkson University. Male students who are sophomores and have a 2.5 cumulative grade-point average are eligible to join a fraternity.

Interfraternity Council
The Interfraternity Council (IFC) provides outlets for social interaction among the fraternity and sorority members. Events include Ice Carnival, IFC-sponsored intramurals, and other social opportunities. IFC also helps to sponsor educational opportunities for all of its members and to help to promote the fraternal ideals of leadership, scholarship, service, community and brotherhood. Sororities
Sororities play an important role in the academic and social atmospheres here at Clarkson University. Female students are eligible to join a sorority during their second semester at Clarkson if they have attained a 2.5 cumulative grade-point average and are in good academic standing.

Panhellenic Council
The Panhellenic Council is the governing body of the sorority system here at Clarkson. The Panhellenic Council provides many opportunities for involvment in campus life and the fraternity and sorority system outside of the individual sororities. Recruitment, social and educational opportunities are provided by the council.
