College Students in Classrooms
College students trained in basic pedagogical approaches and development of project-based educational units can work in partnership with you in your middle- or high-school- classrooms in the Potsdam/St. Lawrence county region. Current project-based units include:
- Solid waste reuse as aggregate in concrete (8th grade science, technology)
- Vermicomposting to transform biodegradable waste into soil (7th grade science, technology)
- The Hydrogen Economy (AP Environmental Science)
- Alternative energy opportunities (8th grade science, technology)
- Placement of cell phone towers (Regents Physics)
- River water quality (8th grade science)
