George Lavigne has been named general manager of the Clarkson Inn in Potsdam, N.Y.
He replaces longtime general manager Peggy Snell, who retired earlier this year.

"I am very happy to be part of this vibrant university community," said Lavigne. "I look forward to building on the already excellent guest experience at the Clarkson Inn, and introducing some exciting new amenities for both our new and longtime guests."
Lavigne is a certified hotel administrator of the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.
