Stephen Ryan Elected Clarkson University Trustee

Clarkson University alumnus Stephen D. Ryan, senior vice president with Morgan Stanley in Rochester, N.Y., has been elected to Clarkson’s board of trustees. He will serve on the investment and student affairs committees.
Ryan graduated from Clarkson University in 1987 with a bachelor of science degree in market research and information systems. He completed post graduate executive education coursework at McGill University’s Global Finance Research Center.
Ryan has been in the financial services industry since his graduation from Clarkson, spending the majority of his career with Merrill Lynch.
He is a board member of the cancer center at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, serving on the nominating and development committees. He is a past board member of the Idaho Film and Television Institute in Driggs, Idaho.
He is involved with Seton Catholic School and McQuaid Jesuit High School in leadership and development roles, and is vice chairperson for the capital campaign at the Humane Society of Greater Rochester.
A native of Malone, N.Y., Ryan resides in Brighton, N.Y., with his wife, Lisa, and two children, Matt and Lily.
