Clarkson University Online Alumni Community Honored
Clarkson University’s online alumni community was recently honored by Harris Connect at its annual users conference.
Harris presented Clarkson University with the 2009 highest registration rate award for sites launched less than one year ago. Among all new sites, Clarkson had the highest percentage of alumni registrations.
Clarkson was also mentioned as part of the best in show presentation for its alumni e-mail newsletter and its regional chapter Web pages. Harris Connect annually dedicates a portion of their conference to recognizing the best in show and does a presentation on the creative ways in which their clients are using the tools provided.
"With almost 400 online communities launched, it is a point of pride that Clarkson was not only mentioned as part of the best in show, but also received the registration rate award," said Stephen Newkofsky, Clarkson’s associate vice president for alumni relations.
