Inspirational High School Educators Honored at Clarkson University

Bendix (top, second from right) were honored at a special dinner on Saturday night and during Sunday's commencement. Barbara Briscese of Wolcott, N.Y., a high school English teacher at North Rose-Wolcott School who could not attend the dinner, was nominated by Melissa Randall (top right). Also honoring the awardees was Dean of Students Kurt W. Stimeling (top left). Graduating seniors are invited to nominate a secondary school educator whom they feel has had a significant effect on their lives and helped guide their higher education decisions and career pursuits. The award recognizes these educators for their influential and lasting impact on their students and in their field of education.
