Bio-terrorism's Secret Past Subject Of Upcoming Lecture At Clarkson
Alexandra Lord, staff historian for the United States Health Service, will deliver a lecture at Clarkson University on bio-terrorism and the history of biological warfare on Monday, January 14, at 7 p.m. in the Cheel Campus Center. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Outbreak: Uncovering the Secret Past of Biological Warfare will address the history of bio-warfare and bio-warfare programs, and provide historical insights into the recent anthrax attacks and other bio-terrorist threats. Through historical analysis as well as an investigation into recent activities, Lord will assess the current threat of bio-weapons and the role of the United States government in addressing this threat.
