Suzanne A. Liberty Named Vice President For Enrollment Management
As vice president for Enrollment Management, Liberty provides overall leadership for all aspects of freshman and transfer admission, as well as financial aid for new students. She is responsible for Clarkson's promotion and communication to high-school students, guidance counselors and other colleges and universities. In her new role, she will manage the development of a campus-wide initiative to improve student retention on campus.
Liberty served the past two years as dean of Admission. As dean, she initiated a successful prospect management process with prospective students and their families. The prospect management process is considered state-of-the-art among college admission consultants. She is a strong advocate for the University's minority programs and has initiated articulation agreements with many colleges and universities.
Liberty previously served at Clarkson as director of Graduate Programs for the School of Business, and from 1993-97 as dean of the Graduate School and director of Research.
She and her husband John reside in Brasher Falls with their children Stephen and Sarah.
