Elliott Of Fayetteville Elected Clarkson Alumni President
Elliott graduated from Clarkson in 1973 with a bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering. Upon graduation, he secured a position at O'Brien and Gere Inc. as a civil engineer and progressed through several assignments of increasing responsibilities. In 1989, he joined Stearns & Wheeler and is currently a partner and executive vice president.
Elliott has maintained a close relationship with Clarkson since graduation. He has planned a variety of regional alumni activities, served as a regional phone-a-thon volunteer, assisted with class reunions, was president of the Central New York Alumni Chapter from 1993-95, and is an alumni admission volunteer. Elliott served for three years as a member-at-large of the Alumni National Executive Council, during that time chairing the Career Development Committee, and has served as a vice president for the last three years.
Elliott and his wife, Kathy, reside in Fayetteville.
Clarkson University is an independent institution located in northern New York, in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. The University has 2,749 graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in programs in its schools of Business, Engineering, Liberal Arts, and Science, and its Interdisciplinary Engineering and Management program.
