Clarkson University's Dana Barry Of Canton Receives Award
Dr. Dana M. Barry of Canton, editor and technical writer for Clarkson University's Center for Advanced Materials Processing (CAMP), has received an APEX '99 Award for Publication Excellence.
Barry's winning entry was the CAMP Annual Report Newsletter (1997-1998). The award, from Communications Concepts Inc. of Springfield, Va., was based on editorial content and overall communications effectiveness and excellence.
Barry, who has won this award four years in a row, has also written five science books and numerous journal features. She had the cover story, "Chemical-Mechanical Polishing," in the May/June 1999 issue of The Chemist.
In addition, Barry was recently selected for inclusion in two international references: Outstanding People of the 20th Century and the Dictionary of International Biography. These references are publications of the International Biographical Centre in Cambridge, England.
