Nathan Konecky Of Collingswood Receives Clarkson University's Highest Alumni Honor

Who: Nathan Konecky of Collingswood, N.Y., president and CEO of ACSIS, Inc.

When: July 11, 1998, at Clarkson University Alumni Reunion

Where: Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y.

Why: As part of ceremonies honoring alumni who have distinguished themselves either by service to their alma mater through Alumni Association service or have demonstrated outstanding career achievement, bringing distinction to themselves and to Clarkson.

Award citation:

Nate is nationally recognized in the computer industry. He has served on the board of directors and as president of the Information Technology Services Division of the Information Technology Association of America. He has also been active with the National Association of Computer Consultant Businesses.

A lifetime member of the Clarkson Roundtable, Nate has been particularly close to the Clarkson University School of Business, serving for many years on its advisory council and implementing a training program for new ARMS Inc. employees conducted by School of Business faculty here on the Clarkson campus. He has been active with his class reunions, has returned to campus as an Executive- in-Residence, and has hosted regional phone-a-thons at his corporate offices in New Jersey.

It is with great pride that the Clarkson Alumni Association presents the Golden Knight Award to Nathan Konecky, Class of 1963.
