Ernst Elected To Clarkson Board Of Trustees

Kathleen A.Ernst, RN, CCM of Vestal, N.Y., president and owner of EMAssociates, Inc., has been elected to the Clarkson University Board of Trustees. As one of the firstrehabilitation case managers in New York state, Ernstpioneered one of the first case management companies inthe nation in the mid-'70s. EM Associates, Inc. is anintegrated workers' compensation and health managementcompany. Ernst was named New York State's Small BusinessPerson of the Year in 1994. Ernst graduated from JewishHospital School of Nursing and Allied Health College inSt. Louis, Mo. As a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow, shecurrently serves on the Board of Directors of theBinghamton Rotary Club and the Broome County United Way.While her daughter, Lori '97, was a student at Clarkson,Ernst and her husband, Carl, served as chairs of theParents Committee and Parents Fund.
