Guest Lecturer To Speak On Dangers Of Antibiotic Resistant Germs
POTSDAM, N.Y. – Dr. Len J. LaScolea Jr., president of the Institutes for Antibiotics and Infectious Diseases and head of Century Pediatrics in Buffalo, N.Y., will present a lecture titled "Revenge of the Germs: Antibiotic Resistance" on Monday, April 27, at 7 p.m. in Barben Room B of Clarkson University's Cheel Campus Center. Dr. LaScolea will discuss the increasingly frightening incidents of germs that have become resistant to antibiotics and what will happen when even the most powerful antibiotics, considered the miracle drugs of the 20th Century, become ineffective.
