Clarkson Alumni Invited To Honor One Of Their Own April 14: Milford "Red" Curtis '48 To Receive Baker Citation
The award is given annually to the alumnus or alumna who demonstrates exemplary service to the regional chapter, and an overriding commitment to Clarkson and the objectives and ideals of the Alumni Association.
Curtis is a 1948 graduate of Clarkson with a B.S. in electrical engineering and owned Curtis Motors in Potsdam. Now retired, he collects antique automobiles and frequently attends car shows as part of his passion. He resides in Potsdam with his wife, Jean.
Professor David M. Craig, director of the Clarkson Honors Program, will be the evening's guest speaker. He and three honors students will discuss the year-old program and offer a tour of the new Honors Office in the Educational Resource Center (ERC).
The Tuesday, April 14, dinner buffet is at 6:30 p.m. in Barben Rooms A and B of Clarkson's Cheel Campus center. A cash bar will precede dinner at 6:00.
