Lt. Col. Gerald Lambert Of Potsdam Is New Transfer & International Admission Director

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Gerald Lambert as director of Transfer and International Admission, effective September 8. Lieutenant Colonel Lambert is retiring from the Army after serving as Professor of Military Science at Clarkson since 1994.
Under Lt. Col. Lambert's leadership, the Army ROTC freshman enrollment grew from 12 to 191 enrolled students. Campus scholarship winners grew from one to 22 winners over a two-year period. He initiated curricular changes, and programs involving alumni and development.
He holds an Executive MBA from the Katz School of Business, University of Pittsburgh, and has completed additional graduate work in management information systems, telecommunications and business from the Command and General Staff College in Leavenworth, Kansas, the University of Southern Mississippi, and Clarkson University. He holds a B.S. degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
In his new responsibilities at Clarkson, Lt. Col. Lambert will design, implement and administer a program to recruit transfer and international students to Clarkson. Working with the academic units, he will manage articulation agreements for 2+2 and 3+2 programs to ensure a smooth transition of these students to Clarkson. He will also initiate new agreements with international agencies.
The breadth of Gerry's experience, his creative ideas and his academic experience will be an asset to the transfer and international operation.
