Research Interests
My research in solid state physics includes, electronic field effects in quantum well structures in semiconductors, high-temperature superconductors, surface physics and density functional theory. In statistical mechanics I am concerned with exact solutions of models for phase transitions. In a more mathematical direction, I study lattice sums and the asymptotic properties of special functions.
