Library, meet Freshman. Freshman, meet your new best friend. If the view from the stacks gets a little old, you can move your study group to our new Student Center. And if you need help, our campus tutoring services can help you keep on track automatically.

Networking with friends, getting your social on
Clarkson is all about community—you're going to make friends for life here. We have more than 60 student clubs and organizations to meet people, great dorms and learning communities, and an incredible, new 56,000 square-foot Student Center where you can chill.

Learning out of the classroom
What you learn in class, you can apply immediately at Clarkson. Some of our most popular academic opportunities include SPEED Design & Build Teams and Service learning, as well as professional organizations such as the Collegiate Entrepreneur's Organization and the National Society of Black Engineers. Many first-year students also begin working on funded research projects alongside faculty members.

Working Out
With its recreation facilities and its location at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Clarkson's the perfect place to get active, indoors and out. You'll have an easy time keeping off the freshman 15 by:
- Playing on one of our varsity teams or getting involved in intramurals
- Working out in our fitness center
- Exploring the region as a member of our very popular Outdoors Club.

Earning Money
Need bank? A number of students take part in our work-study program or find local jobs in town. Some of our students even run their own businesses through our Young Entrepreneurs Program.
