Summer Research Program

Summer research is an intensive program that offers you an outstanding opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research. All Honors students are eligible. You may work as part of a professor's research team or on your own individual project. This experience has proven to be an engine for powerful accomplishments during the summer it is undertaken and afterward.

There is no program cost to participants. Honors provides room, board and a small budget for research supplies. Students provide only their own spending money.

The summer program culminates with Clarkson's SURE (Student Undergraduate Research Experience) conference, during which participants present the results of their work. SURE abstracts from past summers appear below.

Students participating in the 2007 summer research program can find information in the following documents in Microsoft Word (.doc) format. You may click left on them to open in MS Word or right click to save to your computer.
