The Princeton Review rates Clarkson University 95 out of a possible 99 points in the Green Rating category of the 2009 edition of its annual book, Best 368 Colleges.

Clarkson’s environmental education opportunities are led by a diverse faculty and staff, focusing on a wide range of fields and research. 

New Minor in Sustainable Energy Systems! A new cross-disciplinary minor is currently under review by the School of Engineering. Formal submission and approval by the Faculty Senate this fall is the next step toward initiating this minor for all Engineering disciplines.

New Equivalent Minor for Non Engineers! Clarkson is looking into developing a minor similar to the Sustainable Energy Systems minor for engineering, but open to everyone!

Advancing Our SPEED Projects! We are checking out new possibilities for our SPEED projects, like Solar House and EcoCar.

Expanding FY100! The University is investigating how to integrate sustainability into the First Year Seminar.

It’s Never Too Soon For the Sustainability Talk! So, we’re introducing a new section of freshman student orientation on the subject!
