"Without the unique experiences TCS provides its students, I probably would have never had the academic qualifications, confidence, and ambition to take advantage of the various opportunities that have come my way."

An Unparalleled Early College Experience

Ambitious and talented high school students have a variety of options available to get a jumpstart on college. But unlike AP credits or concurrent enrollment in local community colleges, The Clarkson School offers incoming high school seniors with an unparalleled college experience –– one year ahead of schedule.

Why swap your senior year in high school for The Clarkson School?

Intellectually mature students often find they have outgrown high school sooner than their peers and are ready to tackle new challenges and opportunities. These students thrive in the Clarkson School environment, taking rigorous academic courses alongside other Clarkson freshmen, while studying and living in a close-knit, highly supportive campus community. Their early entry into college sets them apart from their high school counterparts; yet their exceptional drive and intellectual abilities allows them to blend effortlessly into the fold of Clarkson’s extraordinary student body.

Simply put, Clarkson School students have the best of both worlds -- access to all the resources and amenities of a nationally ranked university, with separate residential facilities, specialized activities, and a faculty and staff dedicated to meeting their unique individual and collective needs.

At the end of this exciting and challenging year, more than half of Clarkson School students remain at Clarkson to complete their undergraduate degrees, many entering the university’s prestigious Honors Program. Other Clarkson School graduates transfer to prestigious colleges and leading universities with a solid academic foundation including an average of 30 earned credit hours, as well as demonstrated growth, confidence and preparedness to help them succeed in their future endeavors and fields of study.
