As a senior game developer, he is the architect of the system's infrastructure, the creator of new game ideas and the producer of the product itself. DeBiasa not only created almost all of the games on the site, but also built the site from the ground up, developing the back-end technology that functions the site.

Games at BigFishGames.com range from familiar pastimes like video poker to innovative versions of favorite games like Badda Bingo and Fairway Solitaire where new features add surprising and often challenging twists. Take the game Farm 51™, DeBiasa's latest creation. With the basic idea of creating a farm simulation, he added some creative variations. "Instead of thinking, 'Let's make a farm simulation,'" DeBiasa said. "I thought 'Let's make a farm simulation, with aliens!'"

DeBiasa did not always imagine that he would be programming aliens into Internet games, but he did know that he had a knack for computer systems. Working at a deli after college and self-taught in Windows programming, he built and sold a variety of shareware games. Several years and a small consulting firm later, DeBiasa took a job at Strong Group Inc. where he built the original gaming site. The site was eventually sold to BigFishGames.com, who hired DeBiasa to continue to develop the site.
