Students taking classes outside on the Clarkson campus

Student Projects

The Clarkson University Student Industrial Hygiene Chapter (CUSIHC) is sponsored by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) (Syracuse Section). AIHA and CUSIHC are social professional organizations through which students meet people in the field, attend seminars on real world issues, and socialize with classmates on campus. The American Society of Safety Engineers sponsors students with scholarships and professional development dinners. Clarkson students benefit from strong support by the ASSE Central New York Section.

Student members may join the national organization and attend national AIHA meetings at no cost. National meetings include a special student forum, interviews for employment, and ample opportunities to network with people already working in the field.
