Juniors Suhail Kamran and John M. Stevens collbaorated on research that involved simulating transparent filter circuits and antenna for radio-frequency identification. (RFID) RFID is an automatic identification method, relying on remotely retrieving data using devices called RFID tags and transponders, which can be attached to or incorporated into a product, animal, or person. Current tags are made of opaque materials, but for some applications, like anti-product tampering applications, military, homeland security applications, transparent tags are desirable.
