Children's Holiday Party

Each child brings a gift to give to Santa in exchange for an ornament from a local artist. The collected gifts are donated to the Potsdam Holiday Fund.

Ives Park Gazebo Garden (on-going; Started Spring 2000)
The flowers blooming around the gazebo at Ives park were donated and planted by dedicated members of Clarkson Club.

Hospice of St. Lawrence County Garden (Spring 2001)

Hospice of St. Lawrence County Garden

Landscape improvements at the Hospice of St Lawrence County offices located on Rt 56 south of the village Bagan Spring of 2001.
Members planted a perennial garden and flowering trees. Additional trees have been planted.

Scholarship Program

Provides a scholarship to a worthy Clarkson student. Donations to the fund are welcome.

This year the Clarkson Club gave two scholarships to incoming freshman students from the ' North Country'. We are very proud to continue to offer two $1,200 scholarships. We hope your generosity will enable us to continue this most worthy program.

Again there were many applications of high standard, making it difficult to choose. This year’s recipients are Jessica Burl, Mathematics & Derek Dustin, Biology.

Helen Lindsey Service Award

This award recognizes outstanding service to the Club, as appropriate, not necessarily on a yearly basis. Nominations are open to the entire club membership. If you feel someone is worthy of this award, please submit a nomination through an interest group coordinator or contact the Contact Co-President Adele Pugliese or Shirley Metcalf.

International Women of Potsdam

Provides companionship and friendship for International visitors, especially the wives of students or faculty who are often very lonely. Also the group provides an opportunity for those who do not speak English well to learn the language and practice speaking it.
