Q: Describe the work that you do.
A: I consult with job candidates to assist them in managing their career transitions, from resume development
to interview preparation and job search strategies.
Q: What is the most interesting aspect of your career?
A: Every client is different, so my work never gets boring. It's also fulfilling to do work that helps people
achieve their personal goals, especially in today's job market.
Q: How did a Clarkson education help you launch your career?
A: I enjoyed a lot of my professors, especially Bradford Broughton, Mary Lay, and Owen Brady. I remember
them best. The thorough training I received in identifying the audience and tailoring the message to various
constituencies has been invaluable in assisting my clients. Exposure to engineering and all things technical
has helped me to serve clients in technical fields, including IT, engineering, medicine, and pure sciences,
where some of my colleagues are somewhat daunted by the challenge.
Q: What clubs/activities did you participate in at Clarkson?
A: News & Sports director – WCKN-TV; Hockey Play-by-Play – WCKN-TV; Sports Editor, Editor-in-Chief –
