Meet Clarkson Student, Nduka Anyanwu '11
Major: Interdisciplinary Engineering and Management with a concentration in mechanical engineering
Where I'm from: I am originally from Nigeria, but I live in Brooklyn, New York
Why I chose Clarkson: Finding a school that offers both an engineering and business major as one major was not easy to find when I was applying for colleges about two years ago. There are only about four schools in the United States that offer such a unique program. Clarkson University happens to be one of them and is the closest to my home town (Brooklyn)!
I like to: staying in shape by any means necessary-from participating in different kinds of sporting activities to lifting weights in the gym. Also I love reading a lot of business magazines as well as learning more about people from other cultures.
What's hot on my plate: Right now I am working on my business plan for a company that I wish to launch before my graduation from Clarkson University.
Campus Jobs: I am a first year seminar peer educator and a proctor for Clarkson University’s department of accommodative services. I also work in the Alumni gym and I am currently working with the external relations of Clarkson University.
