Let Clarkson be your launching point for a life-changing global experience. We have formal study abroad exchange agreements with numerous colleges and universities in multiple countries. Spend a semester or full academic year living and learning in a stimulating and challenging new environment. Wherever you go, you will return home with an enlightened new perspective of yourself and the world.

What is an exchange?
An exchange means that you don’t have to apply for admission directly to the foreign college or university. Our exchange office and partners school exchange offices agree to accept students who meet the academic policies set forth for study abroad. An exchange also means that you continue to pay tuition to your home university.

Getting Started
We encourage you to start your study abroad research early. Research the programs that best match your interests, academics and career goals. Then attend the Study Abroad Exchange Fairs and Informations Sessions to see what schools meet your needs.  Meet with your academic advisor and talk about the best time to go abroad.  Talk with others who have gone abroad and ask advice.

If you have any questions about Study Abroad Exchange at Clarkson, please contact the Career Center at career@clarkson.edu or 315-268-6477.
