Completing a Co-op
Completing a Co-op
Co-ops are meaningful career-building experiences for Clarkson students. To make sure you’re getting the best real-world work experience possible, you and your supervisor must complete two sets of evaluation forms: one after the first month of employment and one in the final week of the co-op. The Career Center will send evaluations directly to you and your supervisor.

Returning to Clarkson
If you completed your academic plan with your academic advisor before you left, then the transition back to campus should be a smooth one.
Co-op on Your Transcript
Unlike an internship, a co-op gets a place on your Clarkson transcript. You won’t earn credit, but we want to officially recognize the co-op as an important real-world component to your Clarkson education.

We invite you to take advantage of opportunities – starting with your first year – that will help you stand out from the crowd: co-ops, internships, study abroad, and workshops on career-related topics.
