We would like to make the process of recruiting our students as simple as possible.  Please take a look at the information provided below and use it as a starting point.  Any additional questions can be directed to the Associate Director for Co-ops & Internships, Karla Fennell, at kfennell@clarkson.edu.


1. Setup/Login to your KnightLink account at http://www.clarkson.edu/knightlink
To setup a new account you can register on that page

2. Post position(s), Co-ops and Internships should be distinguished as "Experiential Learning jobs"
If you plan to interview on-campus use the on-campus recruiting functions on KnightLink to determine how you wish to receive applications!

Check the academic calendar here for specifics on when students are available
Fall Co-op: Starts May/August, Ends December/January
Spring Co-op: Starts December/January, Ends May/August
Summer Internships: May through August

3. Review Applications

4. Interview:
You may interview on or off campus, if you decide after reviewing applications that you would like to interview on campus, click on "Create New Schedule Request" under your quicklinks and select "none-room reservation only" under OCR Model.

5. Develop list of students to extend offers to

6. Send to Karla Fennell to verify that students meet criteria:

* Completed Freshman year and will spend last semester on campus
* At least a 2.0 GPA
* Good standing (academics, monetary & through program)

7. Extend Offers

8. Provide Career Center w/ list of accepted students;
along with copy of signed offer letter and job description

9. Have supervisor complete initial evaluation 1 month into experience. Students must complete one as well.

10. Have supervisor complete final evaluation last week of experience. Students must complete one as well.
