The Clarkson Career Center is dedicated to helping you reach your career goals. Our full-time staff offers customized services to all Clarkson students and alumni who want to:

• plan for a rewarding career
• find the right co-op or internship
• study abroad for a semester or year
• improve  job search skills
• connect with the best job and graduate school opportunities

To be viewed by all stakeholders (students, alumni, employers, parents, faculty and staff) as a partner that exceeds expectations for career exploration, opportunities, interactions, networks, and events. To be viewed as a benchmark operation by other career service offices.

Mission
The Career Center is a student service that provides linkages between students, alumni, and employers as they prepare to meet post-graduate and hiring goals. Our office provides comprehensive career development and services that include exploration, preparation, experiential education, study abroad exchange and employment opportunities. We utilize an educational placement model/process that proactively engages students to meet their career-related goals within a global context. 

One in five Clarkson graduates is the CEO, vice president or owner of his or her own company. Great careers like that don’t just happen — they result from a progressive 21^st century education, solid career planning, lots of hard work, and plenty of opportunities to acquire meaningful real-world experience.

The Career Center is the perfect place to start a career search. Whether you’re a first-year student or you’re a senior getting ready for that next step, our staff will work directly with you to create an individualized plan to meet your career objectives. We are a partner that will provide the linkages, support, and resources to needed to make your career exploration, preparation, internship/co-op, and employment search successful.
