CAMP's Dr. Dana Barry Speaks in England and Appointed Scientific Board President


In England Dr. Dana Barry presents an Outstanding Achievement Award (on behalf of the NNY section of the American Chemical Society) to Dr. Roger Haw, a Founding Member of Ansted University.

CAMP Technical Writer Dr. Dana Barry has been appointed President of Ansted University's Scientific Board. She is responsible for improving and promoting the quality and effectiveness of the University's science and engineering programs. She also serves as an External Professor for the University.

In September Dr. Barry delivered a "Welcoming Speech" and presented awards at Ansted University's convocation ceremony held at London Metropolitan University, the largest university in London with over 30,000 students. She also chaired a session and presented a paper "Corporate Environmental Conditions Affect the Health of Workers and Society Members in Nearby Communities," at the Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility also held at London Metropolitan University. Her trip to England was sponsored by CAMP, the Northern New York section of the American Chemical Society, and Ansted University.

Dr. Barry is a certified professional chemist, an officer of the Northern New York section of the American Chemical Society, and a member of the American Institute of Chemists Editorial Review Board. She served as a Visiting Professor in Malaysia (2001) and Japan (2002). In addition , she has numerous honors to her name and has authored over 90 professional publications including five books.
