Global Business Experiences
Undergraduate International Experience Options
In today’s business climate, countries and cultures must work together to meet economic, business and political challenges. Employers prefer graduates who embrace cultural diversity and can navigate international relationships. Through our International Experience requirement, Clarkson School of Business graduates are prepared to meet this need.
What are your options for completing an international experience?
Currently there are four options for you to choose from:
- Semester Exchange Program: a full semester at one of our partner schools
- Global Business Program: a two to three week faculty led trip (UNIV 399)
- Canadian Studies Program: Introduction to Canada course (UNIV 267)
- External pre-approved programs
Each fall the Career Center and School of Business hosts a Global Business Fair with representatives available to provide information and answer any questions you might have about your options. Please inquire with the Career Center about dates and times for these fairs.
"I cannot even begin to describe how much studying abroad in Singapore for a semester changed my life, between all the amazing things I learned and the lifelong relationships I made there. I am still in touch with lots of the people I met, and in large part studying abroad helped me get an internship with my dream startup business in Manhattan."
