A Letter from the President - Evolution to Excellence
During my inauguration as Clarkson's sixteenth president on October 11, 2003, I focused on the theme "Evolution to Excellence" because this institution has reached a point of historic opportunity. Having begun as a tiny trade school in 1896, Clarkson has evolved into a major, technologically focused university of international stature. Now we are positioned to achieve an even higher level of quality and greater impact.
