Clarkson Junior Program & Child Care Service

Junior Program Schedule

Fun for the Whole Family

While you're having a great time with old friends and classmates, your children will be well cared for and have a lot of fun.

Clarkson Junior Program
Great fun for children with our NEW and improved Junior Program! While our alumni had a great time with old friends and classmates, their children had fun attending programs on and off campus under the supervision of certified counselors. All feedback indicates children have had a wonderful time!  Especially well received were workshops organized by the three schools as well as the weekend favorite, a magic show put on by our own Jim Peploski '85.

Clarkson Junior Program is designed to allow you to spend time with classmates and friends while offering exciting events for your child under the supervision of certified teachers and trained counselors. The program is designed for children ages 6-12. The fee for this program provides your child quality supervision, programming and meals. The Clarkson Junior Program runs on Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The program schedule includes a variety of activities:

  • activities planned by the university’s academic departments
  • organized games
  • arts & crafts
  • swimming
  • pizza party
  • barbecue
  • movies
  • And lots of Fun!

Child Care Program
12 to 8 pm
For children up to the age of 5 years, a NYS certified N – 6th grade educator is leading a program to provide your child(ren) with a nurturing and caring environment. Your child(ren) will be in excellent care and have fun with reading time and play time along with regular meals, snacks and nap time. Special baby foods or formula should be provided by you, the parents, if needed.

Other items that should accompany your child to our daycare center are: playpen or portable crib with blankets for napping if needed, favorite toys or “lovies,” additional outfits or changes of clothes for accidents or weather variations, diapers and wipes for children not yet using the potty, and strollers or slings/carriers for walks outside.  Please remember it is helpful to write your child’s name on items you are bringing along in order to identify them for proper return in the event they get lost or misplaced.

The program is located in the Bertrand H. Snell Conference Rooms on the second floor.
