Scholarships and Financial Aid
Nine out of 10 Clarkson students receive financial aid in the form of scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study jobs. We automatically consider all students for merit scholarships based on your admission application.

To apply for need-based aid, you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Financial Aid Application Deadlines
To be eligible for merit scholarships and grants, we need to receive your admission application by January 15. If you are applying early decision, the deadline is December 1. For need-based aid, we recommend that you file the FAFSA by February 1.

Financial Aid for Transfer and International Students
Transfer students are eligible for many scholarships and awards, plus additional funds, simply by submitting a transfer application. For need-based aid, you will need to submit the FAFSA at the same time as your admission application. Contact for more information.

International students may qualify for merit-based Clarkson international scholarships, but are not eligible for need-based aid. Please contact for more information.
