Sherry Nemmers
A Brand Magician, Sherry Nemmers (www.sherrynemmers.com) blends over two decades of strategic thinking and creative talent with business acumen and outstanding marketing skills, building the world’s best brands for Mars, Procter & Gamble, Toyota, General Mills, Coke, Ad Council, and others. Sherry served as Executive Vice President and Global Creative Director at Publicis Worldwide and Saatchi & Saatchi, and as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Munn Rabôt Advertising.In addition to The One Show, The Effies, International TV & Radio Festival, Andys, Pinnacle, Clios, Mobius and Art Directors awards, Sherry received the prestigious INSPIRE award given by Procter & Gamble for outstanding leadership and innovation. Having served on P&G’s Creative Council & taught at Mars Ad School, Sherry’s interviewed with CBS Sunday Morning, NBC Dateline, CNN, Wall Street Journal, AdAge, Adweek, The New York Times, The New York Sun, among others. She speaks at industry events for the Museum of TV and Radio, Bloomberg, NYU/Stern, Vassar, NYC Advertising Week, and for numerous panels and client seminars.
With award-winning pro bono marketing campaigns for the Ad Council (Sherry created McGruff the Crime Dog) and the ASPCA, Sherry is passionate about giving back; formerly on the Boards for The NYC Soho Rep Theatre, and for selfchec cancer prevention, she now serves on the Board for The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts. A creative and active alum, Sherry holds a B.A. in English from Vassar College. She lives with her husband and two cats in New York and Blue Mountain Lake.A proud Adirondack native, born and raised in Blue Mountain Lake, Sherry is fiercely protective of her Adirondack heritage. Three things she holds dear: Her grandparents had a working Adirondack farm, she was the first to ring ‘the bell’ on opening day of the Adirondack Museum, and she’s almost memorized Township 34. Now, Sherry is determined to keep the woods and waters Forever Wild, and the residents Forever Wired.
