Elizabeth Folwell

Elizabeth Folwell is creative director of Adirondack Life, Inc.,publishers of the regional magazine, books, maps and calendars. She lives in Blue Mountain Lake and often works remotely for the magazine office in Jay. She is also the author of several books including The Adirondack Book (Countryman Press/Norton, now in its sixth edition) and the recently released anthology Short Carries: Essays from Adirondack Life. She has taught nonfiction writing at Ray Brook federal prison, led workshops in book marketing and contributed to publications as diverse as Gray's Sporting Journal, National Geographic Traveler and Getaways.
