Forever Wired Annual Conference
Register now for the 2011 Adirondack Initiative, Forever Wired annual conference hosted by Clarkson University on October 4th. Join energized regional entrepreneurs, representatives and professionals committed to responsible and sustainable economic growth in the Adirondack North Country Region.
Entrepreneurship Centers from across the Northeast and other rural communities plan to join many of the sessions this year, creating the best in education, information and new idea exchanges for telecommuters, government representatives and small businesses.
The 2011 conference will offer a variety of sessions geared toward assisting local business owners and improving efficiency, sustainability, and overall profitability of their enterprise. These sessions will offer the following tracks:
- Telecommuting
- Rural Entrepreneurship
- Micro-financing
- Government, Industry, and Higher Education Collaboration
- Mobile Computing
In addition to lunch, the conference will also feature keynote speakers with a depth of professional corporate experience, but after launching their own business, they realized they still had a lot to learn. These individuals have experienced the challenges faced by starting an enterprise within the North Country and other rural regions. Come learn from them the methods they used to overcome these challenges.
Professionals and organizations are invited to set up promotional displays at the conference to connect with other entrepreneurs who may be seeking their services.
Free one-on-one consultations with experts from Clarkson University’s Shipley Center for Innovation and Reh Center for Entrepreneurship are available upon request!
