Late Knight Programming
What is Late Knight Programming?
Late Knight Programming is an opportunity for groups on campus to organize and execute activities between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. on weekend nights following men’s hockey games. The Campus Union Board and the Office of Co-Curricular Education have made funding available to you to help fund these activities. Interested members of the Clarkson community may apply for the funding. Successful requesters of funds will complete the following:
1) Make a significant financial contribution to your event; proposers are encouraged to match the amount they are requesting.
2) Have a detailed plan in place at least three weeks prior to the event date. Requests for funding and detailed plans must be received by the Office of Co-Curricular Programming and Education a minimum of three weeks prior to the event date.
3) All receipts, contracts and related paperwork will be kept by event organizer(s) if they wish to be reimbursed.
4) All events that are Late Knight will be advertised widely using three of the following methods:
tabling in Cheel
book marks handed out to students
listing in the campus activities calendar* (must go into calendar to receive funding)
flyers, posters, table tents
5) The point is to have fun. You are bound only by the law, University policies, and the limits of your imagination.
6) Events must take place on campus in a facility reserved through University events and scheduling and the sponsoring group will be responsible for set-up and clean-up.
7) The program proposed involves collaborating with at least one other recognized organization or student group
