The Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Analytics complements graduate work in business administration with modern methods of statistical analysis, data management, and decision analysis. The program emphasizes foundational principles of business and data science as well as practical leadership and analytical skills.
Upon completion, graduates will be able to acquire, analyze and interpret large amounts of data to solve problems in a wide range of business domains, such as finance, marketing, and supply chain management. Graduates will also be prepared to manage teams of data scientists and lead data-driven decisions for organizations.
The Business Analytics MBA is a 1.5 - 2 year program in person at Clarkson University's main campus in Potsdam, New York. It is a STEM-designated program, making it a great choice for international students looking for graduate study in business analytics in the U.S.

The Business Analytics MBA program is a total of 38 credits, with an integrated curriculum spanning both business and data analytics. There are 16 required courses as well as 6 credit customization options including a professional project or internship. Students may start in the Fall or Spring semester. If a student elects to start in the Spring Semester, they will receive a specialized course plan from the department that will be a different sequence than the one listed.

For international applicants, an English proficiency test is required.
Minimum test score requirements: TOEFL (80) and TOEFL Essentials (8.5), IELTS (6.5), PTE (56) or Duolingo English Test (115).

Automatic admission: If you satisfy one of the below criteria, you are eligible for automatic admission into our graduate business programs:
An undergraduate GPA of 3.3 or higher from a regionally accredited college.
An undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher AND a GMAT score of 500 or higher.
A master's degree or above from a regionally accredited college.
These criteria are for admissions purposes only. To be considered for scholarships, students should complete an application. Automatic admission applies only to candidates who have earned degrees from regionally accredited institutions in the United States. All other applicants will follow the prescribed requirements.
You are automatically considered for a merit-based scholarship when applying for a graduate degree program at the Reh School of Business. You do not need to fill out a separate scholarship application. Scholarships are given based on academic achievement (GPA), standardized tests (GMAT or equivalent), work experience and other notable accomplishments.
We also offer the Early Decision Award for Residential Business Programs. Commit by March 1 for fall enrollment and November 1 for spring. Receive an additional award when you commit to the residential program. This award is added to any existing merit scholarship. Contact the MBA program for additional information on this award.
